A snapshot of guest ratings and stories behind the stay.
“The room and bed were comfortable, about what you would expect at a modest hotel. The food, however was unexpectedly EXCEPTIONAL. Highly recommend the prix fix dinner.”
“What a great find! We spent four nights in Cauterets and chose Qin Te Va for one of our meals and it was delicious. The menu is small (3 or 4 starters, mains and deserts) but was absolutely delicious. They didn't have the chicken dish but made a vegetarian dish for my son who is slightly picky with his food and that was lovely. My wife and I had the trout dish with coconut and curry sauce and it was incredible! I would definitely recommend.”
“Great little, homely and welcoming hotel with loads of personality. Not slick, nor pretentious. It's all about making one feel comfy and at home. The English speaking hostesses are enthousiastic and caring. The rooms have their own stylish little water cooker and coffee machine, with pads lying ready. Breakfast consists of a careful selection from local products. Recommended”
“Fantastic food. We enjoyed a full menu meal. Each plate was super from the duck and trout entrees, black pork main dish, and desserts. Throughly enjoyed our time here!”
“Such great food, loved our stay. Nelson’s cooking is the best . Food made us come back for a second night”
“Had a lovely meal at the restaurant this evening. Wonderful lady served us some delicious unfussy French food. 4 adults and 2 children all left feeling very well fed. Thank you for being so welcoming. X”
“I went to ski and chose this hotel. The hospitality is just perfect! Will return for sure if I go for another ski”
